Johnny the Walrus claims the top spot

There are some big changes on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. There’s a new book in the top spot, forcing changes elsewhere.

We do have to start with the change to the Top 3. That change is relatively small, with just one new book in this section. However, that new book is in the top spot.

Johnny the Walrus by Matt Walsh has entered first place in its first week on the list. Will it remain up there? Is this going to be a new series that’s popular with the kids?

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid remained in second and third place respectively.

Dream Town down, 1984 reenters eleven again

dream town by David Baldacci was in the top spot during the previous week. It lost seven places this week, losing the most spots out of all books on the list. It does still hold onto a Top 10 spot, but we’re looking at it dropping down the list from this point.

There is a remarkable reentry on the list before we get into other new additions. 1984 by George Orwell reentered the list of most sold Amazon books once more. Every now and then, this book reenters suggesting how people are viewing the state of the world.

The Dark One by Nikki St. Crowe was one of the new additions on the list, entering in ninth place. The other new addition was a little further down. City on Fire by Don Winslow entered in 12th place.

There were other notable movers, including The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles and The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley.
